Cancer Research UK remains as the headline charity for the 41st annual event, with a wide range of local and national charities being supported once again this year.
Judith Manson, Race Director, confirms: “Charities are at the heart of the Robin Hood Marathon Events weekend. We are immensely proud of the work of our charity partners and look forward to supporting them on their journey.
“The 2022 event promises to be a special event for all involved – raising vital funds for communities across the UK, and returning stronger together from one of the most challenging times through the global pandemic.
“If you have already secured your place in one of the races and want to make each step count please support one of the official charities and help us make the 2022 an event to remember. In 2019, the total fundraising figure was over £330,000 – can you help us top this?”
