Robin Hood Half
and VIP half Marathon

Join us on SUNDAY 28TH SEPTEMBER 2025!

The Robin Hood Half Marathon is one of the longest-running and most popular city centre road races in the UK. A true Nottingham favourite, it’s also the city’s biggest charity fundraising event, with just under HALF A MILLION raised in 2024 alone.

Whether you’re a first-timer aiming to cross the finish line or a seasoned runner chasing a personal best, this course is designed for all. It’s a single-lap, 13.1 mile (21.1km), traffic-free route that offers a balance of scenic views and steady challenges.

Starting and finishing on Victoria Embankment, the course is undulating rather than completely flat. There are a few early inclines (around miles 2, 4, and 6), when your legs are still feeling fresh.

Highlights of the route include:

The beautiful Victoria Embankment and River Trent

Views of Nottingham Castle and the Robin Hood Statue

A unique run through the historic Nottingham Park Estate
The iconic grounds of Wollaton Park, where you might catch a glimpse of the resident deer

You’ll finish strong on the Victoria Embankment Recreation Ground, right by the river — with the crowd behind you every step of the way.

You don’t have to fundraise, but we’re proud that most of our runners do. If you haven’t chosen a charity yet, you’ll have the option to do so when you enter.
