Run for our
Headline Charity

The Robin Hood Half Marathon is delighted to partner with 'Brain Tumour Research UK' as our Headline Charity Partner from 2026.

One in three people in the UK knows someone affected by a brain tumour. Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this. It is the only national charity focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours.
Help fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.

  • Brain tumours are indiscriminate; they can affect anyone at any age
  • This devastating disease kills more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer
  • Each year, nearly 13,000 in the UK are diagnosed with a brain tumour – that’s 35 people every day

A powerful campaigning organisation, Brain Tumour Research is the leading voice of the brain tumour community. Unique and much needed, it is the only national charity focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. The charity is campaigning to increase the national investment in research into brain tumours to £35 million per year, while fundraising to create a network of sustainable Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence across the UK – including one right here in Nottingham.   Your support makes ground-breaking research progress possible. Your fundraising enables scientists to uncover new knowledge about brain tumours and use this to advance towards kinder and more effective treatments. The awareness you raise strengthens the charity’s campaigning, helping to influence governments to drive real change. You help give real hope to families affected.

Run at the Robin Hood Events and every step you take, every pound you raise, will help us get closer to a cure.
