Robin Hood Half Marathon Set for Record-Breaking Year as 90% of Entries Sell Out
The Robin Hood Half Marathon, taking place on Sunday 27th September 2026, is on course for its biggest event ever, with 90% of entries already sold months ahead of race day.
Organisers have confirmed that demand for Nottingham's biggest running event has been unprecedented, with the 2026 edition set to welcome the highest number of participants in the event's history. Runners from across the UK and beyond are preparing to take on the iconic 13.1-mile route through the city, alongside thousands of supporters lining the streets to cheer them on.
With only a limited number of places remaining, organisers are encouraging anyone hoping to take part to enter now before the event reaches capacity.
The Robin Hood Half Marathon has become one of the East Midlands' most popular running events, attracting everyone from first-time half marathon runners to seasoned athletes chasing personal bests. The event is renowned for its electric atmosphere, scenic city-centre route and strong community spirit, making it a highlight of the UK's autumn running calendar.

The 2026 event will once again feature a vibrant race village, entertainment, and an unforgettable finish-line experience, with runners passing some of Nottingham's most recognisable landmarks before completing their challenge.
In addition to the Half Marathon, the popular Mini Marathon will give younger runners the opportunity to be part of the race weekend, creating a celebration of running for all ages.
As excitement continues to build, organisers are also calling on local volunteers to join the Race Maker team and help deliver what promises to be a landmark event for the city.
