Robin Hood Half Marathon Runners Raise an Incredible Total of Over Half a Million for Charity in 2025!
The 2025 Robin Hood Half and Mini Marathon have once again proven to be a cornerstone event for the city of Nottingham, bringing together over 14,000 runners and raising a staggering £578,610 for charities and good causes. Making the total raised at the event since 2015 of £3,031,406. This remarkable achievement highlights the generosity and determination of participants, supporters, and sponsors alike.
This year’s event saw runners of all ages and abilities take to the streets of Nottingham, united by their passion for running and commitment to making a difference in their communities. From elite athletes chasing personal bests to first-time runners achieving incredible milestones, the atmosphere was electric from start to finish.
A record number of Charity partners were involved in the event this year, including local and national organizations. Together with a variety of other supported charities they have been overwhelmed by the amounts raised, with funds going toward life-changing projects and services that impact countless lives across the City.
The charity fundraising effort has been nothing short of incredible, with several official charity partners reaching monumental totals, including:
- Nottingham Hospitals Charity who raised a staggering £32,000, funding critical services and facilities for patients across Nottingham.
- Children’s Bereavement Centre raised their highest amount from any event ever, at a staggering £18,179, which will enable them to fund another 91 children through a course of therapy, including counselling, art therapy and play therapy sessions. Vital services for children aged 3-18 when faced with the death or terminal illness of a loved on
- Footprints Nottingham raised an amazing £16,763.90, enabling them to transform the lives of children with mobility and communication difficulties across the East Midlands.
- Emmanuel House raised an impressive £15,225, supporting their vital work in providing services to homeless, rough sleeping, in crisis or at risk of homelessness across Nottingham.
- The Friary raised a remarkable £14,162.23, funding life-changing programs to support the homeless.
- Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance raised an incredible £11,356.62 towards enabling their crews to continue their life saving care across Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
- Himmah raised an impressive £11,131, Himmah operate the largest independent food bank in the city, helping everyone in need.
These inspiring efforts reflect the true spirit of the Robin Hood Half Marathon, where every stride taken by runners helps fund essential services and projects that benefit so many people.
The excitement for next year’s event is already building, with entries for the 2026 Half Marathon breaking record numbers compared to previous years.
