RACE DAY 2025: ONLY 1000 HALF ENTRIES LEFT!

With just under 8 weeks to go, the countdown is officially on for the 44th edition of the Robin Hood Half and Mini Marathon, taking place on Sunday 28th September 2025. This year’s event is on track to be the biggest race day in the event’s history, with nearly 11,000 runners already signed up and momentum continuing to build.

Organizers have confirmed that fewer than 1,000 general entries remain for the main Half Marathon, while the hugely popular Mini Marathon is down to its final 400 spaces. Whether you're chasing a new PB, running for charity, or taking on your very first 13.1 miles, the 2025 race promises something for everyone — set against a backdrop of some of Nottingham’s most iconic scenery, from Victoria Embankment to Wollaton Park.

“This year’s response has been incredible,” said Race Director Judith Manson. “We’re thrilled to see so many runners returning and even more first-timers getting involved. It’s clear that the Robin Hood Half remains a special event in the UK running calendar, and 2025 is shaping up to be a truly unforgettable day. If you’re thinking about joining us — now’s the time to commit.”

The event’s inclusive atmosphere is bolstered by a record 22 official charity partners, with thousands of pounds already being raised for local and international causes. Off the course, the Race Village will once again be buzzing with food, music, family-friendly entertainment, and the community spirit Nottingham is known for.
