Robin Hood Half Marathon General Entries Sell Out in Record Time

The 2026 Robin Hood Half Marathon has officially sold out, with all general entry places now snapped up in what has been a record-breaking year for one of Nottingham's biggest sporting events.

Thousands of runners will take to the streets of Nottingham on Sunday 27 September, creating an unforgettable day of achievement, community spirit and fundraising. The exceptional demand reflects the growing popularity of the event, with runners from across the UK and beyond choosing the Robin Hood Half Marathon as their goal race.

Although general entries have now closed, there is still an opportunity to be part of the 2026 event.

A limited number of places remain available through the Robin Hood Half Marathon's official charity partners. By securing a charity place, participants can take on the challenge of 13.1 miles while raising vital funds for a range of local and national charities making a real difference in their communities.

Whether supporting groundbreaking medical research, helping vulnerable people, improving mental health or changing young lives, every mile run and every pound raised will have a lasting impact.

Judith Manson, Race Director at Goldline Events, said:

"We're absolutely thrilled to have reached another sell-out of general entries, and we'd like to thank everyone who has entered this year's Robin Hood Half Marathon. The response has been incredible and is a testament to the passion of the running community and the unique atmosphere our event offers.

"If you've missed out on a general entry, don't panic. Our fantastic charity partners still have a limited number of places available, giving runners the chance to experience race day while raising money for some truly incredible causes."

Mini Marathon entries still available – but not for long

Entries for the Robin Hood Mini Marathon remain open, but demand continues to be exceptionally high.

With entries increasing daily, organisers anticipate the event could sell out as early as Monday, and families are encouraged to secure their child's place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

The Robin Hood Half Marathon and Mini Marathon will take place on Sunday 27 September 2026, bringing thousands of runners, families, volunteers and spectators together for one of Nottingham's biggest celebrations of sport.
