Businesses Invited to Step Up for the Nottingham Post Corporate Challenge 2026

Businesses across Nottinghamshire are being encouraged to bring their teams together and take on the Nottingham Post Corporate Challenge as part of the Robin Hood Half Marathon and Mini Marathon on Sunday 27 September 2026.

Designed to promote teamwork, wellbeing and community spirit, the Nottingham Post Corporate Challenge offers companies the chance to enjoy a unique day out while competing against fellow businesses from across the region. Whether aiming for the podium or simply looking for a fun way to engage colleagues, the challenge welcomes runners and walkers of all abilities.

Teams of four to six people are made up of both Half Marathon and Mini Marathon participants, ensuring everyone can get involved. To qualify, each team must include at least two runners in the Half Marathon and two participants in the Mini Marathon, making it an ideal opportunity to bring together colleagues, family members and supporters of all ages.

For a team entry fee of £290, companies receive access to the Nottingham Post Corporate Challenge marquee in the Race Village, exclusive team T-shirts, post-race meal and drinks, free massages and dedicated facilities. Trophies and champagne are awarded to the top three teams, but organisers say the real prize is bringing people together and supporting good causes.

The Corporate Challenge has become one of the most popular features of the Robin Hood Half Marathon weekend, with teams from businesses including Copley Scientific, Browne Jacobson, Nelsons Law and GMV competing in 2025. Demand is expected to be high again in 2026, with places likely to sell out well before race day.

Race Director Judith Manson said:
"The Nottingham Post Corporate Challenge is about much more than competition. It's a chance for businesses to invest in employee wellbeing, strengthen team spirit and support charities, all while enjoying a fantastic day together. Whether your colleagues are experienced runners or complete beginners, there's a role for everyone and we'd love to see even more local businesses involved in 2026."

The Robin Hood Half Marathon, is one of the UK's longest-running city races and Nottingham's biggest annual fundraising event. Alongside the Half Marathon and Mini Marathon, the Corporate Challenge has become a highlight of the event weekend, bringing together companies, colleagues and communities in a shared celebration of fitness and fun.

Businesses interested in entering are encouraged to act quickly, as Corporate Challenge places are limited and have sold out months in advance in previous years.
