11th May 2020 - Coronavirus Statement

We are monitoring COVID-19 developments very closely, and will follow advice by the UK Government and World Health Organisation around the staging of large public events. Whilst it is too early to give any 100% reassurances we are committed to working closely with our partners and to providing clear communication to our runners.

We are fully aware that the uncertainty on the matter is challenging for all; we understand the commitment and dedication you make when you enter one of our events and we would not take any decision to cancel or postpone lightly. We love delivering our events and we work hard to make sure our participants can enjoy them in a safe and happy environment. Our main priority remains the health and safety of race participants, spectators, volunteers, operation teams and partner agencies. We will therefore continue to monitor the situation and release further information in due course through the official channels.

Any decisions around the staging of the Robin Hood Marathon Events weekend will be taken in close consultation with all key stakeholders. At present we are planning for the Robin Hood Half Marathon, Mini Marathon and Mile Challenge to go ahead as scheduled on 26th and 27th September, but we will update participants as a priority if the situation develops.

Thank you for your patience and continued support at this challenging time.
