100 Days to Go: Robin Hood Half Marathon Gears Up for Another Record-Breaking Year!

With just 100 days to go until the 44th edition of the Robin Hood Half and Mini Marathon, excitement is building fast for what’s set to be the biggest race day in the event’s history.

Entries for the 2025 race — taking place on Sunday 28th September — are soaring, with over 8,000 runners already signed up and hundreds more expected to follow. The streets of Nottingham are preparing to come alive with passion, energy, and community spirit like never before. From first timers to seasoned runners, the 2025 event promises to be a true celebration of personal achievement, resilience, and local pride. Organizers are particularly proud to welcome a record number of 22 charity partners, supporting both local and global causes — a reflection of the race’s ever-growing appeal and inclusive spirit.

“This year’s response has been nothing short of phenomenal,” said Race Director Judith Manson. “It’s clear the Robin Hood Half continues to hold a special place in the hearts of runners. With the improvements we've made in recent years, the event has gone from strength to strength — and we’re proud to deliver a race day Nottingham can truly be proud of. It’s your great city and your great race — come and be part of it.”

Beyond the race course, the event is expected to have a major positive impact on the local economy, with thousands of visitors travelling to Nottingham for race weekend — bringing with them energy, celebration, and an economic boost to the region. As the countdown continues, the team is hard at work with final preparations — from finalizing the entertainment to organizing the vibrant Race Village, which will once again serve as the heart of the event. Runners are encouraged to arrive early to soak up the pre-race buzz and ensure a smooth start to their day!
