Become an Ikano Bank Robin Hood Marathon Events 'Race Maker'.

Want to be part of the Ikano Bank Robin Hood Marathon Events on Saturday 28th or Sunday 29th September 2019 but don't want to run? Then become part of our dedicated volunteering team and be one of the Ikano Bank Robin Hood Marathon Events 'Race Makers'.

Being a volunteer 'Race Maker' will be extremely rewarding, it's a chance to meet new friends and like minded people but it is not for the faint hearted. It can be a long, tiring day and come rain or shine we will need your support to help make this fabulous event happen.

On Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th September 2019 thousands of runners of runners will take part in this iconic event, taking in the sights of Nottingham's historic and beautiful City, as well as raising thousands of pounds for local, national and international charities and we need you to help them on their journey.

The Roles

There are a number of different roles that we will be looking to fill for Race Day and the week leading up to the race. If you are keen to become a 'Race Maker' along the course, in the Race Village or at the start/finish line, we want to hear from you.

Here is an example of just some of the roles on the day:

  • Volunteer Team Leader
  • Route Marshal
  • Kit Tent team member
  • Finish Line assistant
  • Route Water Station team member

Please note:
Volunteer Race Makers must be a minimum of 16yrs of age on Race Day.

Your Commitment

In signing up to become a 'Race Maker' you must be available for the whole day on Saturday 29th or Sunday 30th September 2018 and at least one training session prior to Race day. The Race Maker training session will take place in the beginning of September, dates to be confirmed. Team Leaders will be required to attend two briefing sessions and participate as a Leader in the second session.

We are looking for long term commitment and that means we want to see you next year!
